This Ficus Bonsai tree has been reported to be more than a million years older; the earliest Bonsai tree on the planet. It's the major tree on screen in the Italian Bonsai Museum"Crespi".It was bought and sent to Italy in 1986 from Luigi Crespi, (an Italian company, artwork retailer, and historian) who displayed the shrub in the Euroflora Fair at Genova where it obtained that the Fair's prestigious"Honour Prize", provided by a jury of international experts.The shrub was styled by several generations of Chinese masters, then by Western master Shotaro Kawahara. It's currently cared for by Luigi Crespi and Alberto Lavazza.
